Nature has been inspiring artists and craftspeople for generations, serving as the perfect subject matter to communicate our appreciation for animals and their environment. Lincolnshire in particular, with its various reserves, parks and woodlands, is an ideal location for artists and photographers to hone their craft. With our Arts & Crafts weekend, we aim to shine a spotlight on our local artists and creators, giving them an opportunity to share their work with a like-minded audience (that's you!)
When is it?
Our Arts & Crafts Weekend will be taking place on Saturday the 29th and Sunday the 30th of June 2024.
This full-day event will run between our regular opening hours from 10:00am - 4:00pm (last admission at 3:00pm.)
What is It?
A selection of stallholders and exhibitors representing a range of mediums will be set up in our indoor polytunnel throughout the course of the weekend.
You'll be able to pop in at any time* with your day's admission to browse examples of their work, chat to the artists, and purchase prints, gifts, and other hand-made items they have out for sale.
Entry to the exhibit is included with your day's admission to Baytree Owl and Wildlife Centre, where you'll also be able to browse our collection of over 60 owls and birds of prey, plus watch our daily flying demonstration at 1:30pm.
In addition to our artists, we will also be joined by other select stallholders such as the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust and Barry's Bees.
*Between our usual opening hours (10:00am - 4:00pm, last admission 3:00pm.) Entry included with general admission price.
Where Do I Get Tickets?
Access to our Arts & Crafts Weekend is included with the price of general admission.
Tickets may be purchased directly from our admissions desk on the day of your visit, or booked online in advance.
