Dreaming up ways to bring you all-new experiences is part of what we do, and our special event days are no different. With a calendar bursting with unique opportunities, you'll always have a great reason to visit again and again!
Our staple event is, of course, our peak season flying demonstrations, which you'll be able to enjoy every weekend from Easter until the last Sunday in October at no additional cost.
Additionally, we hold special event nights seasonally throughout the year, including the Summer Flight Night and Winter Owl Evening.

2025 Events
Owl Evening
Come and spend a magical evening in the company of the owls from our flying demonstration team. Set in the warm glow of our softly lit indoor arena, this enchanted setting sets the perfect ambience for a cosy yet thrilling spectacle. This jam-packed extravaganza is made with the owl enthusiast in mind, as you'll be able to meet the varied species in our collection up close whilst we provide engaging facts and commentary. Wrap up warm, pull up a seat and prepare to be amazed!

Pre-Demo Demo Week
Join us for an exclusive sneak-peek ahead of our 2025 flying demonstration season! In this unique opportunity, you'll be able to watch a selection of our birds in-training over the February half-term week. Showings will include falconer commentary and will be taking place at 1:30pm every day from the 15th until the 23rd February, included with the price of your admission.

Flying Displays Start
This is the first day of our flying demonstration for 2025! At 1:30pm every weekend (plus daily during school holidays), you'll be able to watch up to 5 birds from our demonstration team doing what they do best. With both indoor and outdoor arenas, you'll be guaranteed a great show whatever the weather. Entry is included with your day's admission, so don't miss out!

Baby Day
Date 1 of 2. Spring is the season of new life, and Baytree Owl and Wildlife Centre is no exception! Come and meet a range of new-born balls of fluff in various stages of development (they grow up so fast!) We'll have a number of talks throughout the day inside our polytunnel, where our babies will also be available to view throughout the day. And of course, we'll have our daily flying display too!

Vulture Awareness Day
Did you know? The first Saturday in September is international vulture awareness day, and we plan to celebrate it in style! Learn all about these extremely important birds of prey, the threats they currently face, and how you can help! Plus, meet our collection of incredible vulture species including our cape vulture Geoff, our pair of critically-endangered white-backed vultures, turkey vultures and American black vultures.
